What are Limiting Beliefs?
A limiting belief results from a set of disempowering thoughts which has becomes so ingrained in your mind that you have taken on the characteristics of the words and have adopted the resulting poor behavior patterns surrounding the negative thoughts.

For example, if your goal is to lose weight and you find yourself eating a bowl of ice cream every night before bed, generally there is a sequence of thoughts and behaviors that occur before you go to the freezer and grab the ice cream. Hypnosis will help you alter those thoughts and behaviors which will result in putting a hard STOP to you reaching for the ice cream. Changing your disempowering thoughts and behavior patterns lead to kicking your bad habits which in turn helps you achieve your goals. You MUST first change your internal self-talk. What to expect in a hypnosis session
Prior to the first hypnosis session, there will be a discovery session where we will discuss your issues and the goals you wish to achieve. Together we will formulate a plan with an agreed upon amount of time it may take for you to achieve your goals. Then I will write a personalized script for you which contains positive suggestions. We review the script together. Upon your approval of the script, you can have your first hypnosis session. Through guided relaxation, visualization and intense concentration processes, I will help you achieve a very relaxed hypnotic, trance-like state. At this point, your mind becomes ultra-focused on what I am saying, and you are able to temporarily block out everything else. At this stage you are very open to suggestions and I take the opportunity to plant the planned suggestions using a calm, assertive voice. You are always in control of what is going on. You can open your eyes at any time.
